Hello 2024!
Reflecting on a Mighty Year, 2023.
This was a good year, one of growth, of joy, of success and always, of GRIT.
There is nothing more valuable to me than my family; Colin, Nick, Maddy, Mom, brothers, nieces, nephews and my whole tribe. I love you and am grateful to all of you. Nothing is possible without people who love and support you. And, there is heart family. These are my friends, my team, my colleagues, my industry and my mentors. I think without people who inspire you, it’s impossible to grow and be better. I feel blessed to be surrounded by these people who contribute to my wholeness and I to theirs.

2023 was a year of steady growth and optimism. Building an outstanding team; Diane, Stacey, Madeline, is the very pillar of any biz. I have always believed that the best investment any organization can make is in its people. Our team is growing and gaining serious momentum - I couldn’t be more proud or more energized. We are headed into our 4th year and going strong with some hefty goals for 2024. We are ready. We will BRING IT!
Some biz highlights (thank you Stacey for these stats)
671 people attending BS events: Mobilizing RVTs, Rally the Receptionists, Building Better Leaders and Team Workshops. Had people attend from across the country and one brave American!
Presented to veterinary and animal health students.
Presented at 3 major conferences.
Traveled across Alberta and across Canada!
Produced our first documentary about Mobilizing RVTs
Completed a gentle ‘rebrand’.
Initiated industry collaborations all supporting the need for better communication.
We have solid aspirations for 2024 including (certainly not limited to….):
continuing our signature programs,
building 2 new programs,
branching into the US,
producing Mobilizing RVTs’ Part 2,
being a contributing author to a book
and creating a podcast.
Surrounding all of that, our team will have joy at work because we believe in what we do, we appreciate each other and we are grateful for our clients.
We stay true to our purpose, “Coaching people to communicate better.”

Horsewomanship, whiskey and general badassery. That’s what we are about. Partnering with Elan and starting this unique business fills me with joy. We are building a serious collective that is built on our mutual respect and admiration for each other, for other horsewomen and for our dedication to the study of horses. We are in steady build and growing more and more. We have an exciting year ahead…
🏇 My horses, my passion! Not sure what I’d be doing with my ‘spare time’ if I didn’t have them! I love all things horses, I love the study of them, I love being with them and I enjoy the people that horses seem to collect. I’m always grateful to my dear friend, Jonathan Field, for his dedication to educating people for the betterment of horses. It’s a fuel that keeps me energized, excited and optimistic. 2024 will be filled with horses and I can’t WAIT!
My words or themes for 2024: DISCIPLINE and PROFIT.
Discipline. To keep going, to achieve goals, to stay positive and stay the course.
Profit. When good service is fueled by a great team, you get value. And value drives profit.
